The NBA's Favorite Food - Darius Rice

Ok, so maybe it's not a food, but if you haven't heard of Darius Rice, you probably will sooner than later.

Darius Rice is not even in the NBA yet. He most likely won't get drafted in the next NBA draft. He's not playing basketball for some famous collage. Darius Rice plays basketball for the NBA's Development League. He is a Foward on the Dakota Wizards. Recently named MVP in the Development Leagues Championship game, Darius Rice scored an amazing 52 points. 33 of those points came from beyond the 3 point line. That's right, Darius had eleven 3 point shots. The NBA's record of most 3 pointers in a single game is held by two people, Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall, and they both have 12. Want even more amazing than that. Darius Rice isn't even a starter. He's a sixth man.

Darius Rice is talented. There is no doubt about that. The NBA Scouts have him in their radar. He's a proven player in that league. If the NBA doesn't pick him up soon, there is something wrong. I honestly expect the NBA to pick him up within the next two years if not way sooner. The NBA would be crazy not to.
